Also known as Rebutia neocumingi or R. erinacea. It usually has a single stem, globose that reaches 10 cm of height and 20 of width, and many spiral-shaped tuberculate ribs. The central thorns can reach up to 2cm in length while the radial ones, which are yellowish with brown tips, have a maximum length of 1 cm. Its beautiful yellow and bell-shaped flowers bloom in the spring-summer period.
