Notocactus leninghausii f. monstrous crested (Cactus)

Absolutely unique exemplar, in which are enclosed together two of the characteristics that distinguish the rarity of a plant: it takes on a crested shape, therefore it is characterized by a compact fan-shaped arrangement and not perfectly geometric pattern, to which is added the monstrous peculiarity, consisting of variations in form such as presence of protuberances or absence of spines that will never be the same from one exemplar to another. The combination of the two peculiarities makes this specimen really rare and, for this reason, extremely coveted by collectors. Also known as Parodia leninghausii, it is a species of cactus much appreciated for its thick and beautiful "crown". In its normal form this plant, which with time tends to tuft at the base, has regular and dense ribs with areolas covered with multiple soft and golden thorns, all well vertically aligned.
