Notocactus ferrugineus (Cactus)

Also known as Parodia ferruginea; it is a globular cactus of a rounded shape, slightly concave at the apex. The areoles are rich in spines, long and thin, intertwined with each other, of the typical rust red color, from which the plant takes its name. Flowering occurs in summer, generating large pale yellow flowers with thin, elongated, almost transparent petals.
