This rare cactacea is a cultivar that is highly appreciated by green collectors for its particular skin of a lizard-like appearance. It is a globular plant, depressed at the apex, which over time tends to branch off at the base. The gray-brownish (bronzed) stem has multiple rounded tubercles, little highlighted, with extremely downy areoles. The spines are completely absent in the lower part, and in the upper part the spines are tiny and of a blackish color. During summer you can admire its splendid glossy yellow flowering at the top of the plant.
